Meet Mallory Comely- Precision Ag Specialist
New Employee Spotlight: Mallory Comely

A little about Mallory:
I grew up on my family’s row crop and beef cattle farm in Western Kentucky and have always had a passion for production agriculture. This passion was intensified as I became involved with the National FFA Organization at the local, state, and national level. I graduated from Murray State University with a degree in Agronomy and interned with Advanced Agrilytics summer of 2024 in Southwestern Indiana.
My husband and I enjoy spending weekends at home on the farm, being involved in our church, going to the gym, and playing with our dog. I hope to officially add “gardener” to my resume by the end of this summer! Any time spent outside is time well spent to me!
Fun Fact: I traveled to 42 states and another country as the National FFA Eastern Region Vice President within one year.
How did you hear about Advanced Agrilytics, and why did you want to be part of our team?
I heard about Advanced Agrilytics from other peers in the industry who truly believed that Advanced Agrilytics was taking the best approach to precision agriculture that they’d seen throughout their professional careers. I interned in 2024, and my internship bridged gaps between what I was learning in the classroom and what I already knew to be true about agronomy from in-field experiences. It allowed me to look at precision agriculture through a different lens than I had ever thought before.
Upon meeting some of the agronomists I realized that this company had the same ultimate goal that I had for my career: to help make farmers’ lives easier. I instantly resonated with the methodology and hard-working culture of the company and knew that this was where I wanted to start my professional agronomic career.
What excites you most about working at Advanced Agrilytics?
What excites me the most about working at Advanced Agrilytics is the commitment to bettering every farm we step into. We are a company of people eager and ready to do right by farmers. Every field that Advanced Agrilytics touches is left better than we found it. My peers’ growth mindset and motivation to drive optimization of every acre make me excited to step into the field every day.
What’s your favorite part of working with growers?
Farmers are some of the wisest people you will ever meet! Taking time to listen and learn from them is always productive and encouraging. The lightbulb moment is when a grower is able to see how our methodology will benefit their farm and is ready to implement our strategies is the best!
