A little about Brian:
I grew up working on a local farm in Owensboro, Kentucky, where corn, soybeans, tobacco, and vegetables were grown. After receiving a degree in Agricultural Economics and Business at the University of Kentucky, I returned to the farm and managed the commercial vegetable operation for many years. Later, I worked for a produce company where my main focus was grower development and sales. I enjoy spending time outdoors working in the garden, boating, and playing golf.
Fun Fact: I was in a Fresh Produce Leadership Program for a year where we visited many fruit and vegetable operations in several states on the east and west coast, as well as Costa Rica, learning how every area had their own benefits and unique challenges.
How did you hear about Advanced Agrilytics, and why did you want to be part of our team?
I first heard about Advanced Agrilytics from a friend. Once I researched and understood the company’s principles, I quickly realized it was something I wanted to be a part of. Meeting with team members and having more conversations about the benefits for the growers solidified my decision.
What excites you most about working at Advanced Agrilytics?
I appreciate the fact that Advanced Agrilytics takes a holistic approach when working with growers and their operations. Every operation and field is unique in its own way, and having agronomic expertise along with proprietary technology allows us to have conversations with several tools in our toolbox.
What’s your favorite part of working with growers?
My favorite part of working with growers is understanding the challenges they face and then coming to them with solutions to overcome those challenges and help make them more successful.
