Advanced Agrilytics Names Kenny Avery as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
[Indianapolis, IN – December 3, 2024] Advanced Agrilytics, a leading agricultural solutions provider, announced today that its Board of Directors appointed Kenny Avery as the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Avery brings a distinguished career of more than 35 years of experience in leadership, operations, and financial management in the agricultural industry to Advanced Agrilytics. He excels in building high-performing teams, developing strategic clarity, and enhancing both top and bottom-line growth.
Avery previously served as President and CEO of Verdesian Life Sciences, leading the company in delivering sustainable crop nutrition solutions. Before that, he held several key leadership positions at Monsanto, including Vice President of Global Vegetables. Avery’s extensive experience leading large-scale agricultural initiatives and his proven track record in driving growth and innovation make him an ideal fit for Advanced Agrilytics.
Avery holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mississippi State University and is a retired Certified Public Accountant. He serves on the board of Hopeful Community Outreach and previously served on the boards of the Mississippi Children’s Museum, United Fresh Produce, and Habitat for Humanity Wake County, NC.
“This is an exciting time to be a part of Advanced Agrilytics as we build from our existing foundation and chart our path to the future,” says Avery. “We want to bring our ‘best in class’ agronomic solutions to progressive, business-minded growers and agribusinesses worldwide.”
Avery is overseeing a transformational period in the history of Advanced Agrilytics, which will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2025. The company plans to expand its business and grow in three key areas:
- Grower Direct: by expanding the footprint of its Grower Direct business and the variety of prescription products available through its proprietary Terraframing Suite software, Advanced Agrilytics is poised for significant growth.
- One example of a new solution offered by Advanced Agrilytics is its new LPK Offering. It allows growers to get the industry’s most precise recommendations for managing Lime, Phosphorus, and Potassium to get better ROI on their nutrient investment while minimizing nutrient waste.
- Managed Services and Licensing: Advanced Agrilytics launched a new division earlier this year focused on offering Managed Services and Licensing to industry partners such as independent agronomists and ag retailers. These partners will be able to offer their grower customers the industry’s most precise crop management prescriptions, which will be “Powered by Advanced Agrilytics” proprietary Terraframing Suite solution.
- Ag Ingenuity Partners: Advanced Agrilytics’ custom research division, Ag Integrity Partners (AIP), will expand its research and analysis-based offerings portfolio. AIP also plays a crucial role in developing and evaluating future SaaS offerings for Advanced Agrilytics.
“Broadening our existing go-to-market models and expanding into other agronomic segments such as retail gives Advanced Agrilytics a way to establish new revenue streams and provide our patented agronomic solutions to an even wider audience of business-minded, progressive growers,” explains Avery.
