Meet Eli Klokkenga- Precision Agronomist
New Employee Spotlight: Eli Klokkenga

A little about Eli:
I was born and raised on a family farm in Emden, Illinois where we raise corn, soybeans, wheat, and livestock. After receiving a degree in Ag business and Crop Science at University of Illinois, I began my career in Ag-Finance. For the past 12 years I have worked in the seed industry with Wyffels Hybrids covering west central Illinois.
Outside of work, I am a huge U of Illinois sports fan, St. Louis Cardinal fan. I also enjoy hunting, fishing, golfing and attending/coaching my kid’s sports and activities.
Fun Fact: I am one of 6 kids, so I enjoy family time and fun-loving chaos!
How did you hear about Advanced Agrilytics, and why did you want to be part of our team?
I heard about Advanced Agrilytics from my now fellow coworker Clay Crouse who I, who I knew from the seed industry. After meeting with Clay and other team members, I was captivated by Advanced Agrilytics’ approaches to agronomy and wanted to elevate my understanding.
What excites you most about working at Advanced Agrilytics?
Advanced Agrilytics methodology is what the precision ag industry has been looking for: accurately analyzing the field environment spatially so we can influence it correctly down to the sub-acre.
What’s your favorite part of working with growers?
Connecting with growers that have a passion for elevating their crop production.
