Rick leads the Grower Direct team at Advanced Agrilytics, managing a team of “best in class” agronomic experts and agribusiness sales professionals. He has a proven track record of expertise in sales and sales management. He has worked closely with global commercial organizations to realize the full value of sales and marketing transformation initiatives. Previously, Rick served as the Executive Vice President of Strategy & Business Development with Verdesian Life Sciences. In this role, he was involved in strategic initiatives, including the acquisition of Cytozyme Laboratories, Inc., which aimed to strengthen Verdesian’s position in nutrient use efficiency technologies. Before his role at Verdesian, Rick spent seven years working in various marketing and sales roles focused on industrial equipment in the oil and gas space. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University and his Masters of Business Administration from the Carnegie Mellon University Tepper School of Business.
