Advanced Agrilytics seeks a Training ManagerLead to maximize our employee effectiveness by determining and solving training needs. This role will lead our training plan development and implementation and measure the effectiveness of our training efforts. Qualified candidates must have outstanding coaching skills, high results orientation, a collaboration mindset and excellent communication and teaching skills.



  • Develop a deep understanding of the Advanced Agrilytics suite of products and services and identify training/ learning plan for all roles including agronomy, sales, Research & Development and enabling functions
  • Collaborate with Regional Business Directors, Area Business ManagersLead Agronomists and Research & Development to develop individualized learning plans for their team members that align with their goals 
  • Identify vendors, training providers including partnerships with Learning Management Software providers to develop new and unique approaches to provide micro learning to employees 
  • Coordinate all training efforts including training plan design, training delivery and assessment of effectiveness 
  • Act as the liaison with Data Strategy team to ensure employees gain the know-how to fully utilize Advanced Agrilytics Precision software programs 
  • Interact with Precision Agronomists and field personnel to understand conversations at the farm gate and get a solid appreciation of our sales process and offerings
  • Ensure new sales representatives/ Precision Agronomists are orientated to sales processincluding development of individual coaching plans and availability of resources and assistance
  • Ensure one-on-one coaching is provided to Precision Agronomists on the sales process, the sales conversation including value selling and objection handling
  • Partner with management team to develop insight that helps Precision Agronomists teach customers new ways of thinking and constructively challenging customers to rethink their current perspectives and approaches where needed 
  • Partner with the Customer/Training experience team to contribute to the development of the Advanced Agrilytics interactive Customer/Training Module
  • Partner with the Technical Training Lead on the development and implementation of the Technical Agronomy Training Modules 
  • Determine future training needs by interacting with Management team and Precision Agronomists; observing sales encounters; studying sales results reports; conferring with sales managers and Regional Business Directors
  • Improve training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions 
  • Measure the effectiveness of training and leverage metrics to assess the how employees are building their functional and leadership competencies 
  • Create and maintain partnership with the help desk function to track commonly reported issues /questions and continuously evolve the training materials to reflect those resolutions  

Skills and Competencies

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor's or Master's degree in education, agronomy, business or a related field
  • Experience in leading and delivering employee training in corporate setting 
  • Experience in developing training materials 
  • Experience in the Agriculture/ Equipment industry preferable
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills 
  • Ability to effectively and proactively operate cross-functionally, gaining buy-in across diverse stakeholders to a collective path forward 
  • Ability to be an insightful coach and customize learning to the individual needs of a learner
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, prioritize tasks, allocate resources and meet deadlines
  • 25% travel required
