Advanced Agrilytics

Meet Kendall Mayall- Precision Ag Specialist

New Employee Spotlight: Kendall Mayall

A little about Kendall:

Growing up, I was heavily involved with my family’s grain farm in Southwestern Indiana. We raise corn, soybeans, and wheat. My grandpa introduced me to scouting crops as a teenager, and the rest is history. He taught me to keep an open mind and to “think big” when approaching the different aspects of farming. His legacy was my inspiration to further my education and career in the ag field, specifically agronomy and precision ag. I attended Vincennes University and earned my bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness with a minor in Agronomy. I previously worked at Corteva Agriscience in the research sector, where I managed all of the disease testing and helped fly drones.

I enjoy spending time with friends, family, my dog Axel, and being outdoors when the weather is nice. My fiancé and I enjoy going to tractor shows. I love baking and cooking, and I’m always up to try out a new recipe. During the summer months, you’ll find me boating on most weekends—I love to waterski.

Fun Fact: I have my drone license and enjoy flying them whenever I have the chance!

How did you hear about Advanced Agrilytics, and why did you want to be part of our team?

I first heard about Advanced Agrilytics from some previous colleagues who had joined the company. After networking with an agronomist within the company and hearing about the unique approach the company has for helping farmers, I knew the Precision Ag Specialist role aligned with my career goals and would be a great fit for me.

What excites you most about working at Advanced Agrilytics?

Advanced Agrilytics is committed to helping farmers better their operations, and each farmer is taken seriously with their own specific needs. The team here is dedicated to tailoring solutions to each operation and wants every customer to succeed. Farm management is taken to the next level, and our team focuses on each acre and sub-acre within the field. I quickly learned how the company’s unique approach makes them stand out, and I’ve had the opportunity to see the principles of agronomy and precision ag from a new perspective. I’m excited to be a part of this team and help farmers improve their operations!

What’s your favorite part of working with growers?

I love seeing the uniqueness unfold for each operation! Every farmer has a different story, and each story has just as much value as the next. I’m genuinely interested in each farmer’s approach and the reasoning behind why they do things the way they do. I’ve learned so much just from conversing with growers through the years. Farmers have a lot of wisdom to offer, and my ears are always open to listen.

Welcome to the team, Kendall!
